With the anxiety of moving from Michigan, plus having a dad in Iraq in war; the two teachers that my boys have seem to help them right along. Miss Hofher & Miss Taylor are an exceptional teacher team!! They are great with the Preschoolers and make teaching them fun. They even attend their soccer games! The Teachers (to my knowledge) appear to be honestly interested in the children and their 'learning', but the down fall of this school (in my own opinion) will be the principal. If one is truly interested in the development of the children with 'problems' (not to mention the whole nation promotes), then why take away the 'mentoring' program? She believes that 'mentors' can 'visit' during the childs lunch time (when the child's only interest is spending that quality time with their 'friends')! They know what they're doing and they know how to deal with children. It is a great atmosphere overall.” Posted By: parent Quality Score: 5 2003-08-22 “The teachers at Northrich Elementary really do care about teaching the children and they go that extra mile to help the children in any specific areas that need improvement. The teachers also keep the children in good spirits and interested in learning something new day to day. Northrich is a very clean and safe school. You may not enter the building without signing in at the office first. Teachers are very aware of the schools surroundings and approach all visitors that are in the school without a visitor s badge. Northrich is a great place for the kids to be and that is apparent when you go to the school and view all the faces of the children.”
