Much better than Alridge Elem in Plano ISD which is in same neighborhood. Alridge Elem has a lot of apartments that feed into the school plus Plano the drug problems they are dealing with at their high schools is reason enough for me to keep my son in RISD schools. Canyon Creek has been wonderful. Richardson schools are outperforming schools all over the state and Canyon Creek is the all american school. Great principal, great teachers and lots of parent involvement. There is always respect of each student and a wonderful learning atmosphere throughout the entire school. There is no other school, private or public, I'd rather have my children attend. And when they 'graduate' from Canyon Creek they will be ahead of students due to the excellent teachers they have had and will be better people for the things they have learned from the teachers and classmates of Canyon Creek. Principal Nikki Hamilton is class all the way and she leads by example. Her fine example trickles down throughout the entire school. I can't recommend Canyon Creek enough. Terry H. Parker”
