Kennedy Middle School Reviews

The teacher don't give homework. Students are not a assign any textbooks. All their daily work are done in class. The teacher have to print the kids work off the computer. The after school tutoring only has one teacher tutoring and she need help. 7th grade need a math improvement class. Take a look at the 7th grade TAKS Score. Graded paper come home once a week. Teacher don't communicate and let you know your kids is failing until 6 wk progress come home. Balance of student ethnicity at this school and the parents show the teachers no sign of caring if they child is learning or not. 'Parent wake up and Communicate with your Kids teachers. Without any textbooks and no home work going home this school will always be Below Average/Unsatisfactory. Sad But the Truth Is To Be Told. Kenney Motto: You Send Your Kids With Nothing They Come Back With NOTHING'.

I love this school it is so awesome!!they have lots of activites you can do and join. The teachers really try to teach you well so that you can pass..And the teachers are extremly nice and you can build strong relationshipd with them which i think is really cool!!big ups to coach kelly, coach grounds, and ms.Kelly-keene!

I'm not so crazy about the curriculum. I previously attended another school district and the Pre AP fifth graders were learning what the Pre AP sixth graders learn here. But overall it's a pretty decent school.

There are various extracurricular activities that you can be involved in, however the primary problem is that being involved in more than one activity of the same type, band and orchestra, for example, is near impossible. So if a student is very interested in the arts, it is difficult to dabble in everything.

This school is ethnically diverse. It has a variety of students attending which is important to myself and my children. The classes are a little bigger which I feel is a disadvantage, but the school has come a long way. The academic programs need a little improvement but the quality is there. Theyfocus on sport just like most the schools in Texas. The music and art departments are prettygood. They need some improvement in the extra curricular activities. Tutoring is needed and they should provided that alittle more. Like after school tutoring and mentoring. The level of parent involvement is average. Overall I give the school a B.

Horrible school, no tutoring available. Pulled my children out to homeschool them rather than they go to this school.

This is a wonderful school.
