Meadowbrook Middle School Reviews

Congrats on the wonderful work for passing the TAKS and keeping the school open great staff and wonderful students.

This school has excellent staff. The principle has really gone over and beyond the call of duty to ensure the best for her students. The over all culture is very diverse with little of all, like the really world. My child has gone to this school now for 3 years and has improved since 5th grade. The school needs more parent involvement to make Meadowbrook a success. Give our future all the tool to succeed in the world today/ Kari Haney

Another year is just about finished and Meadowbrook continued to improve. Good job Meadowbrook.

It seems really great. I'm in 7th grade, I was worried before, but now I see that the school is really protective of it's students. The uniforms are nice, actully, they aren't that strickt; Navy blue bottems or dark jeans, white or Navy colard shirts. Any jacket, any belt, any shoes. The work suprisingly isn't that hard, I was failing at my other school! This is my third day at MMS, and I already feel welcomed. xoxo

I am a teacher at MMS. The school is making changes. The new principal is doing her best. Many of the teachers give their best. Of course there are some bad teachers...But the good ones out number them...The atmosphere is difficult. If you are new student it will be difficult...the student who want to learn are out number by the students who want to cause trouble...

I believe that this school could use a lot of work academically. The test scores are always low.

Although I find the teachers to be very competent, I find that Meadowbrook Middle School, Fort Worth, Texas, has serious security problems. Last year my child was in 7th and was threatened with a knife. This year he has had to fight with a kid and is constantly harassed. They need a new security team and better funding to provide that security.

My daughter just finished her first year at Meadowbrook and we have had a great 6th grade experiance. I have been involved with her activities and her teachers and everyone has been great. Her orchestra participation has just really made her self esteem blossom. Great teachers and staff. Thanks to all

Meadowbrook middle school is a wonderful place to go to. If you want a safe school, come to meadowbrook middle school!

My daughter a six grader there. She told the that the second week she went there their was a 8th grader picking on her. So when I went to the school there. I found out that she liked to pick on kids smaller than her. Now my daughter has all kinds of girls messing with her. I just think they need more security around. But that is just my opinion.

My main concern is the constant fighting that goes on at Handley. I removed my 8th and 7th grader due to fights that happen there. Teachers are average to very good. Leadership could be improved. Security guards don't do their jobs to protect the students.

I went to Meadowbrook myself, and my son went there from 6-8 and he just finished his last year there at the beginning of the school, from a personal stand point I rate the school as excellent with a great staff and I will always be proud to have taken part in going to this school the mighty proud buffaloes.
