Frisco Montessori Academy Reviews

This school has been a wonderful for my daughter. She is a highly sensitive child and the teachers and staff have worked very well with her personality to help her have a wonderful experience. I would definitely suggest this school to anyone.

My son has attended FMA for two years and absolutely loves it. His teacher is amazing -- she is knowledgeable, patient, and kind. My son is five years old, and is already reading and spelling. I can't believe the things he is learning -- everything from the solar system (he knows all nine planets and their order), from the human anatomy, to social skills. I highly recommended this school

My son attended FMA for a brief period of time as a 3-year-old. While highly intelligent, he was having social issues and difficulty adjusting to 'school.' The teacher, while very sweet, did not handle the situation as well as one would hope and the director was unwilling to listen when I suggested that my son may have a disability. He was made to feel 'bad' and had a negative attitude about attending school, even half-day. After removing my son from such a negative atmosphere, he was later diagnosed with the exact disability (Asperger's Syndrome) I had suggested to the teacher and director which they had both 'poo-poo'-ed. Very discouraging--especially when one pays so much money for a positive, fun, individualized learning environment. We lost a lot of money but I am so thankful we took him out. He has since recovered his happy disposition and love for learning in FISD!

My daughter is student here and she absolutely loves going to school everyday. The teacher are wonderful and take the time to nurture each child's individual needs.

Great teachers, excellent school. My kids love it there.

My son started FMA at the age of 3, he barely knew any english at that time and had very short attention span..at the end of first semester, he was talking very well in english and also was well mannered, he just suddenly started behaving as a grown up boy...I would really like to Thank his wonderful teacher Miss.Lisi... She is not gonna be teaching any more but I really wish if she would have stayed for one more year!
