Greenhill School Reviews

Greenhill has provided everything we wanted for our son. It is an academically challenging, diverse environment with great programs in athletics and the arts. The coed environment was extremely important for us and he has grown into an outstanding student and athlete with a great social balance as well. We know that he will be a successful adult as a result of his outstanding prepartion at Greenhill.

While no doubt a beautiful school with much to offer, Greenhill unfortunately falls in into the 'overrated' category. With so many resources, it fails to offer a solid enviornment for the Pre-K and K level. The classrooms look nothing more than an expensive day care. Furthermore, after school programs are non-existent at the Pre-k and K level. Only 'childcare' is offered for those parents who cannot pick up at 2:00. Being a working mother myself, I could never leave my children in an 'babysitting' like enviornemt for four hours out of the day. Summer camp at Greenhill was also disappointing; very unorganized and stressful for my son. I expect much more from a school with such a high reputation.

Beautiful campus. Very friendly staff and teachers. Great school.

Greenhill has been a wonderful environment for our son. He has been challenged academically and athletically and has enjoyed teacher and coach support as he strives to excel. We also appreciate having him in an environment that promotes diversity and an appreciation of the individual.

interactive, encourages free thinking, liberal environment allowing self expression.

Greenhill School is a great co-educational, private day school. It was a dream come true. I experienced many things there that I know I wouldn't have been able to do had I gone to my local over-enrolled high school. I was a person who was pushed to the limits socially, physically, and of course academically. I learned so much about myself and other people. I learned how to be an integral part of a working, functioning community. It's not like most private schools. (We don't even wear uniforms!) Come and visit one day for yourself, you'll love it as much as I did!
