I grew up in the "valley." That's the Rio Grande Valley, near South Padre Island. It's known for it's mild winters, high volume of Tejano radio stations and of course, ruby red grapefruit. I drive a '91 jeep grand wagoneer that has been towed roughly seven times in the past three years. I have pictures to prove it and extremely loyal friends.

I love to travel - even if it's in Texas. I lived in Oxford, England for a few months and traveled extensively throughout Europe and the U.K. during my stay. Last July, I spent about 10 days in beautiful Peru, South America assisting the Powlisons, missionaries serving the Quechua people outside Cuzco.

I have been doing freelance photography work for about six years now and have been inspired by the work of Richard Avedon, Laura Wilson and Van Gogh, both in writing and art. It's rare to catch me without at least one of my cameras firmly gripped in my hand.

To put it simply; I love it.
