My friends and I are visiting the Dallas area and decided to watch the Rutgers Pitt game at Frankies.
Highlights:
1. Very cute waitresses, very welcoming and always smiled.
2. Cool layout TV's everywhere, indoor outdoor seating and pool table
3. Food is very good and well presented
4. Drink and food prices are very reasonable
5. Bill the owner and his staff really know how to make you feel welcome. Bill is hillarious and introduced us to his staff and to his regulars, really made us want to return often.
6. Satan's piss, was recommended by Bill as a "drop you on your ass" shot and it definately did the job, my friend had 2 of them was feeling "Good", the rest of the night, lol.
Pros: Cute Servers,Great Food, Tons of TVs
Cons: Popular place can be crowded but everyone is friendly
Probably the best sports bar in Dallas

Great place to watch the game, get some good food, or get involved in a game of billiards. There is usually a good crowd of people, and the place feels lively. Good bar and good service.
Pros: Reasonably priced drinks, lots of TVs
Cons: Can get really packed
Good Bar, OK sports bar

Frankies is a good place to watch a game if it is a big or local game that lots of others will be watching, but is not a great sports bar for say a college football saturday with lots of games all over the country that you might be interested in. I love Frankies for watching big Mavs games but there are better places to go to watch out of region college football and basketball games.
Pros: Good overall bar scene
Cons: Parking can be a mess
Love love love Frankies

I have been coming to this place for years. Not only are they great for sports, but the food isn't bad either! Actually the food is GREAT. I went in the first time and had nachos. Talk about 'scary' nachos! I found out that 'scary' is a good thing to the younger generation when it comes to food :) . I recently went back and they were trying out a salad bar. I would eat here every day if I could. They have great pizza, burgers and a great salad bar too now! How could you go wrong? Really, there is something for everyone here :)

Being from out of town, I asked around for the best place to watch the Lakers Celtics game 3. Frankies was the unanimous recommendation. When I get there at game time every seat, inside and outside, is full. So, I ask the friendly guy sitting in the center of the bar wearing a Frankies shirt if he knew how an out-of-towner could get a seat, have a few beers, and watch the game. Bill Katz promply offered the two seats that he and his female companion were using for my buddy and I to watch the game. A very classy - and uncommon move. From there, the staff was flawless (and heavy handed with the Jack pours) and I had a great time. Reasonable prices, great staff, tasty food, and lots of nice people there. Cheers to you guys!
