We ate at the new Geisha house with some friends on friday, and we were thoroughly impressed with all the service options we were given. These guys are doing it right. From the start the G.M. Aron Arson who was so nice.
Our server took time to help guide us through the menu and the sushi is by far the best in town. Our fav roll was the roppongi roll. I cant wait to go back with more friends.
Pros: Great atmosphere and service
Cons: Hard to find
Teppanyaki first timer

So my friends told me about this new Hibachi/sushi restaurant in Uptown called Geisha House. I honestly did not expect so much from a Asian restaurant. The staff was so attentive and the Teppeanyaki chef who cooked for us was so much fun. He put on a show and the food was awesome, this guy got everyone attention with a big fire ball at the beginning and left us laughing through out the evening. I have found my new fav spot.
Pros: Fun staff and chefs, complematry valet
Cons: hard to find at the Gables Villa Rosa

I met a few friends for dinner and we were planning on having sushi. We ended up doing the hibachi grill and had a blast. Our server was awesome and the food was sooo good. We ordered one sushi roll although none of us had room. I think it was called the Roppongi roll -- it was huge. I NEVER order the most expensive roll - to me they have basically the same thing rolled together. This was fresh and different. I'd definitely order it again. We went to "tour" the bar and ended up staying late night. This place is impressive!
Pros: Fun Bar, great food, spectacular service
Cons: Can be hard to spot - bottom right - villa rosa apartments

I have been to every sushi spot in Dallas, and my favorites are tei tei, nobu, steal. Now I am very critical about every new sushi place that opens as well, but GEISHA HOUSE was incredible! The hostess at the door was so nice and accommodating. Our server Paul was one of the best we have had in the city. He help guide us through our dinning experience and left us wanting to come back form more. Our fav was the tuna delight, yellow tail jalapeno, And the ahi tower. This place is defiantly built for the people of Dallas who appreciate good sushi. We also found out that they do hibachi as well, and there hasn't been a restaurant that offers that in the city since benihanna closed on oaklawn.
Pros: GREAT SAKE LIST, COMPLEMENTARY VALET
Cons: None
