Worst sushi ever
Reviewed by woaziebabik on 2010-01-25T10:54:51Z

I, my sister and a friend went there on a Monday night for sushi. I can say it was the worst experience ever. I know a lot and eat a lot of sushi, so I wasn't exaggerating how bad their food was. If I go to some restaurant, and the food didnt suit my appetite, it doesn't necessarily mean the food is bad. But at Sushi on Mckinney, we ordered A LOT of food (which was a mistake), which was horrible. My sea urchin, salmon roe nigiri smelt so bad like they was a few months old, which tasted disgusting. So was my sweet shrimp. If you plan to charge $12 on one order of 2 pieces of sea urchin, you better damn well get some fresh uni/fish. Ordered 3 salmon skin handrolls but received 3 regular rolls and the waiter didn't even bother say or do anything about it. Realizing the sushi was a bad choice, we tried some hot kitchen food and didn't work out too well. We walked out with an empty stomach after wasting most of food because none of them was eatable. I would never come back there. My money didn't not worth the spending!!!

Pros: Nothing good

Cons: everything about it

I have been here 4 times now in the past month, and everytime have been blown away by the excellent customer service, and all around experience. Everyone has a smile on at all times. The atmoshpere is relaxed yet fun, good for a casual meal or a nice night out. The detailed and unique mene options keep me returning to try something new! Love this place.

The old location was a lot better. The service is ok... but there are so many Sushi places around that are better! The new building is nice.. just need to improve the quality of the sushi.
